Address left hand technique and right hand strategies for strumming and picking, then balance the two by learning music’s organization as it is defined by the ukulele. Kimo Hussey’s talent, abilities and experience make him one of the best ukulele teachers on the planet. Born and raised in Hawaii, he began playing ukulele at age 5. Kimo left the islands for time at college and a career as a pilot in the United States Air Force. Retirement afforded the opportunity to return to music and teaching —– the ongoing and worldwide ukulele renaissance became the perfect catalyst. Kimo is degreed, published and recorded as a musician and instructor. He performs around the world and enjoys highest acclaim for his beautiful arrangements and stylings. He continues to hone his knowledge in ukulele by doing workshops around the world, often teaching ukulele teachers. Community service commands a huge part of his overall ukulele activities, his goal for you: to ENJOY UKULELE!!!!
